Do As You Please presents: Matrefakt, The Isles & Róisín W
Grounded in the community spirit that has always defined Do As You Please, Manchester’s favourite underground imprint returns to Ramona, continuing their long-standing love affair with the venue and bringing a line-up that proves why they remain one of the city’s most exciting promoters.
Hailing from Ireland, Róisín W brings deep but uplifting Detroit house with a touch of Balearic and tribal sounds. Having played at Defected Croatia, Homobloc, and Hide & Seek, she’s a regular fixture across Manchester’s clubs, delivering sets that move with both precision and feeling.
From Liverpool, Matrefakt deliver their signature up-tempo, driving sets, blending hard-hitting rhythms with melodic flair. Since 2019, the duo have released on labels including Peggy Gou’s very own Gudu Records, Running Back, Warehouse Music, and Threesixzero, building a reputation for bold, high-energy sets that never hold back.
Joining them is The Isles, a new collaboration between Joe Roche, founder of Do As You Please, and resident Lyle Sutherland. Both veterans of Manchester’s underground, they’ve shared slots at Ramona, Joshua Brooks, Eastern Bloc, and further afield at Westival and Ernest, Newcastle. Drawing on their experience and deep knowledge of the space, they’ll craft a set tailored from their shared love of high octane groove-led rarities and welcomed curveballs. Tickets available on Resident Advisor and Skiddle—free entry on the door
