Community Development For Cohesion Training

Aim: Improve the say local people and organisations have in services and set up their own local cohesion projects

Led by Jonny Wineberg, Founder & Director of Community Futures Trust CIC, this session will enable participants to:

• Identify and tackle barriers to empowering people and organisations
• Identify and use practical and creative methods to engage people
• Understand asset-based community development, its values and practice principles
• Use the ‘PASSION’ checklist to increase the effectiveness of empowerment activities
• Help people from local communities to lead on engagement
