This study explored the experiences of introverted teachers in Higher Education, highlighting both challenges and strengths. It found that introverts often mask their identity and so create the perception that there are few introverted role models in academia. Academia may benefit from openly acknowledging and embracing the contributions of introverted individuals to foster a more inclusive and effective teaching environment.
