Join us for another year as we come together in the beautiful Platt Fields Market Garden. Come celebrate, explore, and delight in what can happen when the LGBTQIA+ community finds itself in amongst the flowers and veg beds.
Alternative Pride always has and always will strive to create spaces to play, rest, connect and grow. We invite you, the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies, to come together, connect to each other and the land, fill your eyes and ears with an incredible array of talent, art, and food and celebrate in whichever way makes you feel whole.
There will be craft and movement workshops, talks, gardening, incredible food, art installations, live music & DJs and more. Stay tuned for more details about the line up.
12pm - 8pm Saturday - booze available
12pm - 6pm Sunday - booze-free day
You can buy tickets for Saturday, Sunday or both! - Photos on the ticket pages by talented Mister Obat. Reminder - Please consider paying as much as you are able to allow the event to remain as financially accessible as possible.
If you know you’ll be coming and are able to, please buy tickets in advance – it really helps us plan food, facilities, and staffing properly.
...and we know not everyone is in the position to buy tickets in advance, so we will have a limited number of tickets available on the door. If you need them, please come down early to avoid disappointment because once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Apologies but we can’t offer any refunds for any reason, including if the festival has to be cancelled for any reason.
We are also looking for volunteers for this event. Fill out this short form to support the event and enjoy free entry for the day you help out at.
Accessibility Info can be found here. If you have any specific questions or concerns that aren’t answered here, or want to arrange a free carer ticket, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via
