Aadal fuse Nordic jazz with Scandinavian melancholy, Americana-inspired soundscapes, and sweeping melodies. Their music is cinematic and emotive—at once ambient and rhythmically propulsive. Featuring Michael Aadal (guitar), André Kassen (sax), Dave Kane (bass), and Gunnar Sæter (drums), the band crafts a distinctive and uplifting sound, drawing inspiration from artists like Brian Blade, Bill Frisell, Daniel Lanois, The War on Drugs, and Bon Iver.

Wandering Monster (Leeds, UK)
Wandering Monster blend contemporary jazz with elements of rock, world music, and both American and European traditions. Led by bassist and composer Sam Quintana, the quintet features Ben Powling (tenor sax), Calvin Travers (guitar), Richard Harrold (keys), and Tom Higham (drums). Their dynamic sound is both raucous and refined—intense, melodic, and rich in improvisation.
