Back by popular demand! On October 18th at 5:45 PM, join a historical interpreter as they guide you on a lantern tour of Monmouth Battlefield on an October night. This FREE event will offer visitors a unique perspective of the battlefield while guiding you through some of the areas that witnessed some of the most violent and bloodiest moments of the battle. Walk on the same ground where the Continental and British armies clashed while listening to grisly first-person accounts from those that experienced it firsthand. Learn about the battle’s horrific aftermath and the burial of those that fell on that scorching June day.
This event will be navigating unpaved terrain with minimal lighting and, unfortunately, is not ADA-accessible. A flashlight (cell phone or external) is recommended for participants.
