The soulful, fun-loving Isle of Klezbos is an all-women’s klezmer band sextet that has redefined the genre for over two decades. This NYC-based powerhouse blends traditional Yiddish tunes with jazz, Latin grooves, and global rhythms, delivering rich musicality and unexpected twists at every turn.
Seen and heard on HBO, NPR, CBS Sunday Morning, PBS, and The L Word, Isle of Klezbos has been praised by The New York Times for its “intoxicating mix of tradition and irreverence.” Their performances range from Eastern European wedding dances to Yiddish swing and klezmer reggae.
