The Social Table is a table we book and you come and play!
Come alone or with someone, but be prepared to mix it up with some friendly folk who are looking for company too!
This event is all about facilitating connections and creating an environment of fun and friendship. We know it can be hard to find friends who love board games, good coffee or even a cold beer when you have moved to a new city, and maybe don't speak the local language (yet) and we want to help.
Board games are a great way to spend an hour or 5, to have easy-going conversation and to combat loneliness and boredom.
So if you want to meet some lovely people, make friends and play some games, come and join the social table!

This Social Table will be all about: Pergola.
"The first thing that stood out to me was the beautiful design, which was quickly followed by some wonderful game mechanics. Let us see if the game lives up to my first impression!"

This Social Table will be all about: Forest Shuffle
This strategic card game has a simple concept: plant trees, attract wildlife and create beautiful ecosystems. But the various combinations of wildlife and plants will have you coming back again and again, trying to create the best ecosystem, and of course, get the most points!
There is no problem with choosing a different game but we find having a theme helps choose the first game and get the evening started!

16th October:
This Social Table will be all about: Perch
These cute birds are in an all out turf war. Gather the most of your birds in the area and control the creatures in the neighborhood to get points. But be careful, you're not the only one fighting for the best nest.

23rd October:
This Social Table will be all about: Tacta
It’s all connected! In this sneakily strategic card game, players flip, twist, and turn their cards to align and cover their opponents’ shapes with matching squares, triangles, and rectangles! Analyze, strategize, and optimize because in TACTA, every card counts.
There is no problem with choosing a different game but we find having a theme helps choose the first game and get the evening started!

30th October:
This Social Table will be all about Social Deduction.
Keep posted, our volunteer event host will select the social deduction game you'll get to play!
This will be a repeated event on Thursdays starting at 18kl.
If you come late, you run the risk of the game starting already and missing out on a fun night. So we strongly encourage you to show up on time at kl 18. If you come late, we will always try to include you but we can not guarantee it will be possible.
We will suggest a game or type of game to get the night going but you are welcome to grab any game that sounds intriguing to you and try it out!
