Den 4 november kan New York få socialisten Zohran Mamdani som borgmästare, trots att etablissemanget inom Democrats inte är positiva. Istället är det gräsrotsorganisering, drivet av Democratic Socialists of America, som arbetat med hans kampanj.
Vad är det som gjort detta möjligt? Möt Megan Romer och Ashik Siddique, ordföranden för Democratic Socialists of America.

On November 4th, New York could have socialist Zohran Mamdani as mayor, despite the Democratic establishment not being positive. Instead, it is grassroots organizing, run by the Democratic Socialists of America, that has been working on his campaign.
What made this possible? Meet Megan Romer and Ashik Siddique, the president of the Democratic Socialists of America.
The lecture will be held in English, but it is possible to ask questions in Swedish. There will be fika and the venue is on the ground floor, with no stairs.
