Controverse open mic featuring Nancy Casey

Join your host Anna Geoffroy and house musician Ethan Mackler for an evening of spoken word performances featuring the fashion poet herself Nancy Casey!

Doors at 6:30, cameras on at 7, everyone out of the building at 8:15. Open mic is run in rounds time permitting, bring extra material!

Venue is UMA at 145 Pleasant st in Malden. This is a televised open mic and feature with full episodes airing on public access TV and uploaded to YouTube. Talk to the producers if you’d like a clip of your performance for your socials.

Nancy Casey is a native of New England, a feral housewife, disabled mother of disabled children. Her favorite saying is "I believe in Humor over Homicide." Nancy began a gay thriller book series and most recently wrote a short story book titled Harrowing Tales. Full of creepy, freaky and maybe even scary tales.
Nancy got bit by the poetry bug three years ago and has been hopelessly addicted to it ever since. As of this year, Nancy earned the monikers, Queen of Halloween by Call Dave at Walnut Street Cafe and The Fashion Poet. So named by Anna Geoffroy, host of Contro Verse.
