ACX Ballots Everywhere: 2025 Greater Boston General Elections (Part 1)

Having created an ACX community voting guide for the preliminary elections ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/18HRUaPVmkKyWyOLY9ojgP5N_5O_sqLVD2dQG3IMTWtc/preview?tab=t.0#heading=h.kv3wenu2aj2r), we’re following it up with one for the general. We’re adjusting the process to take advantage of the slightly less compressed timeframe to produce a guide that more comprehensively takes into account all participants’ views.

You can help out before the event by looking up your sample ballot and making sure it's in there, and by contributing to the Values and Priorities, Information Resources, and Open Questions sections.

At this first in-person meetup, we'll review what’s in the doc and make sure all the races and questions that people are interested in are included. We'll vote on values and priorities; in cases where a substantial minority of people disagree with the majority on a values or priorities question, we can note this and include information from the minority perspective. We will then ask people to volunteer to research specific questions of interest and to choose and write up endorsements. Multiple people can volunteer to write up endorsements for the same race, either together or separately, if there’s interest.
