Workshop/retreat in Spain in October. Welcome!
I love exploring the “theater of life”. I want to mean what I say and say what I mean. I want what I do to be in harmony with what I say. And want to know if, or when, I deceive or limit myself.

Discover the roles you play and broaden your repertoire – through a joyful and permissive way of exploring yourself and existence.
The combination of theatre improv and inner work is absolutely unbeatable for me. Together with friends/co-creators I get to see new sides of myself and develop the ability to observe with a friendly gaze and accept what appears, high and low.
It’s simply great to be with people who are interested in the same thing!
One such friend is Arno Scherzberg, who together with his partner Shira runs the House of Inquiry in Spain; an absolutely wonderful place that houses groups for inner work. Arno is unusually skilled in constellation work, a technique that grew out of Family Constellation that can reflect deep aspects of one’s being. The family dynamic is a fundamental imprint for each of us, whatever we do in life. Other aspects may also be included in a constellation: issues such as money, life energy, spirituality, essence, fears, grounding, illnesses, etc. Then the constellation work reaches a whole new level and has become even more relevant.
The same driving forces and issues can be used creatively in theatre work: what makes a character do what it does? What does the character want to achieve? These questions lead you right into yourself, because as always, it is aspects of yourself that you encounter. But the very best thing about working with improv is that playfulness is so present: it is fun, uninhibited and sometimes quite miraculous to try out new roles. You really do come out of the old ”box”! And doing it together with others is so joyful!
I don’t think combining constellation work with theatre improv in a retreat format has been tried before. But now we are doing this, Arno and I! In October there is the chance to enjoy a week in this beautiful place in southern Spain, with just the right amount of sun, wonderful company, good food, comfortable beds and a combo of Constellation work and Theatre improv!
During the theatre work we will also work with masks, it is fascinating to experience how a mask highlights sides of yourself that you hardly knew existed! Both voice and silence have their place, and the body becomes the main source of expression.
This workshop/retreat will take place 21/10 – 26/10, with the possibility of staying a few more days.
