Step back to Maitland in 1900
On Sunday 12 October, 2:00 pm, we mark the 125th anniversary of Andrew “Banjo” Paterson’s visit to Maitland - when he delivered a stirring lecture at the Town Hall.
Acclaimed bush poet Gregory North retraces Banjo’s footsteps with a unique performance of Paterson’s much-loved poems, alongside vivid stories from his extraordinary life including his time as a war correspondent during the Boer War.
Wit, warmth, and Australiana - brought to life on stage at Sun Street Studios.
