Welcome to Love School

Date: October 13-20, 2025

Location: Near Rimini

Love School is based on decades of experience in the Tamera community, and from other lineages and teachings.

We will discuss the ethics of love based in a culture of truth and peace, and investigate the challenges we meet when we dare to free love and sexuality from fear.

Together we will enter and co-hold spaces of theory and experimentation, to expand our visions of what love can be.

Why Love School?

Love is supposed to feel good. We believe that the struggles and pain we experience in love, have origins mainly in the societies we are shaped by.

And the pain goes far beyond individual drama and disappointment. Both the origins and consequences of our difficulties, go far beyond ourselves.

In Love School, we will think together about how culture influences our beliefs and behaviours, in the areas of love and sexuality. From there we will begin to ask about other cultures and possibilities, understanding the past and looking to the future.

Our work on individual topics almost always leads us to questions about culture and community. If we do it right, our work can have impacts beyond our intimate relations, contributing to positive change in our communities, our societies, and the world.

What will we do:

One core value we bring is transparency. We bring our “private” topics to a larger space to support consciousness and healing. There will be spaces about transparency, as well as opportunities to witness and practice it, and to experience some of its power.

We will think together about our shared ethics of communication and consent. We will have spaces of sharing, including Forum, where we can bring our individual insights and struggles for deeper understanding. No one will be pushed to share beyond their boundaries… but you may hear intimate and potentially challenging stories from others.

For most people from our “modern” cultures, there may be no experience more life-changing, than simply speaking and hearing truth on the topics of love and sexuality, in a space of trust and safety. And, depending on the feeling in the group, we will hold events for possible sensual exploration. These would be followed up, with spaces for processing and integration.

All this, along with other exercises and rituals, will allow us to experience community building and some of its magic. It is in a culture of trust that love can heal. All our ideas and exercises, however intelligent and daring, should serve a loving community, growing consciousness, and trust.

The Team:

The facilitators for this week will be Aida Shibli, Frederick Weihe, Dara Silverman and Sami B Awad. A lifetime of experience in bringing compassion, intelligence, and spirit to the subjects of love, sex, and relationship. This includes decades in the Tamera community and its Love School. Ecological, political, and spiritual activists of our modern cultures.
