Mini Hedgehog Cake

Decorate the cakes provided as this adorable hedgehog - lots of skills including making cake pop mix and piping.

We will bake mini cakes for you which you will fill with buttercream, use the trimmings to make a cake pop mix to shape for the snout and then decorate as a very cute hedgehog. Everything is explained step by step and you will be amazed at how many skills are covered.

How to:
- fill a dome cake with buttercream
- layer and prepare your 'hedgehog' cake
- make cake pop mix
- ice your cake with sugarpaste (fondant)
- make layered, incredibly cute eyes with eye lashes
- use sculpting tools to create the mouth
- make marbled leaves including veining and shaping
- glaze your leaves
- ice a cake board
- fill a piping bag
- create a moulded bow
- store and transport your cake.
