Calling all Forest School practitioners — newly qualified, long-time leaders, school-based support staff, or those training to become one…
Have you ever thought:
“I’d love to keep learning, but local meet-ups are too far away…”

“I miss the spark of sharing ideas, stories and skills with others who just get it…”
✨ Then this is for you.
A gentle gathering in the woods where we can learn, share, and connect together — around the fire, beneath autumn’s canopy, with good people and warming food.
🌳 Why this matters:
Forest School is powerful, purposeful work — but it can also be challenging and isolating.
Maybe you’re new and longing for guidance but unsure who to ask.
Maybe you’re experienced, but craving space to reflect, swap ideas, or feel less alone.
Let’s explore:
🧭 How can we better support each other as local practitioners?
🌱 How do we enable each other to thrive, not just survive?
🤝 How do we share best practice and solidarity across settings?
🔥 What’s Included:
🌲 Buddy walk – begin with gentle connection and grounding
🎶 Warm-up games and songs – simple, adaptable activities to take back to your groups
🔥 Fire circle – a welcoming space to share questions, reflections, and ideas
🍲 Warming lunch – seasonal soup, hedgerow teas, and crumble cooked over the fire
🧶 Skill shares – bring a simple activity or idea to share (or just come to learn)
📚 Swap table – bring books, handmade items, or spare resources to exchange
• Bring: Appropriate clothing, any items to swap, and optionally a skill to share
• Facilities: Privacy tent + camping loo provided. Pub toilets nearby.
• Donation: Small contribution for firewood & food
