Join us for a full-day cultural journey that traces the sacred River Krishna from its ancient ghats in Wai to its divine origins in the misty hills of Mahabaleshwar. This trail brings together heritage nature architecture and storytelling — celebrating Maharashtra’s timeless spirit.
We begin our morning at 6:00 AM from Pune driving towards Wai — known as Dakshin Kashi. Here we’ll explore the Dholya Ganpati Temple the heritage lanes of the old city and the historic Nana Phadnavis Wada at Menawali. The scenic Menawali Ghat along the Krishna River offers a tranquil pause with stories of Maratha grandeur and cinematic charm.
After a hearty Maharashtrian lunch we’ll ascend towards Old Mahabaleshwar visiting the Mahabaleshwar Temple Panchganga Temple and Krishnabai Mandir — each echoing legends of rivers and gods. Along the way enjoy curated storytelling chai breaks and breathtaking hill views.
