The rugged Sahyadri range, with its mountains, ghats, hills, passes, valleys and forts is the pride of Maharashtra. From the Deccan Sultanates, and the Moghuls, to British raj, everyone tried to conquer these mighty Sahyadris by sword. In 2026, we try to do it again, on a bike. And riding up mountain roads best captures the essence of cycling, doesn't it?
We, Western State Sports Management and Convolution Bikes, invite all of you to join us in this RAID. In the second edition of this unique event, we ride three well known ghats around Mahabaleshwar. The ride will be fully supported with a sweep vehicle. Ride at your own speed, and enjoy the scenery and solitude. Be sure to save your best for the climbs!
Combine that with a 3-day hotel stay, picturesque locations, and a KOM challenge on just the climb sections of each day's route, things just start looking festive! And did we mention the elevation gain?
Day 1 - Death by Gradient (Road, Hybrid and MTB bikes): Tapola, via a new route (80 kms, Elevation Gain 1616m)
Day 2 - Slow Roast (Road, Hybrid and MTB bikes): Ambenali base and back (63 kms, Elevation Gain 1391m): Savoy village to Ambenali base and back
Day 3 - Killing me softly (Road, Hybrid and MTB bikes): Medha (Kelghhar) Ghat (73.7 kms, Elevation Gain 1214m)
The tour schedule is as follows:
February 12 evening: Travel to Mahabaleshwar in the evening. Bikes transport will be taken care of.
February 13: Death by Gradient
February 14: Slow Roast
February 15: Killing me softly

Tour Costs:
Early Bird: INR 11,500/- (Until 31th December 2025, 11:59pm)
Regular: INR 12,700/- (1st January 2026 to 31st January 2026, 11:59pm)
Last minute: INR 13,900/- (1st Feb to 8th February 2026, 11:59pm)
Tour costs includes:
1) Pune to Pune transport for bike
2) 3 night stay at Mahabaleshwar Hotel Savoy village: shared accommodation in 4 person rooms (Big rooms) with attached bathrooms, toilets
