We're delighted to be part of the Magor and Undy Eisteddfod. Come and see "Doreen's Big Catch" FREE in Magor Square around 1:25pm. We'll be in the marquee!
This is an innovative and humorous performance bringing to light the little-known story of Doreen Davey, who fought for hours to land the largest line caught salmon ever fished from the River Wye in 1923!
We combine puppetry with live performance, telling this remarkable story in a (very) light-hearted and engaging way.
It was originally premiered as part of the Voices for the Wye event.
The salmon puppet is life-sized and to quote a previous review, "The fish was off the scales!"
