This is a 6-hour course endorsed by Safe Cert taught over two evening workshops and aimed at those who support and manage volunteers either in a paid or unpaid capacity.

Learning Outcomes:
- Understand the role and importance of volunteer management
- Recognise key principles and best practice for involving volunteers
- Volunteer Involvement – Recognise how volunteers are involved and contribute
- Making Volunteering happen – Explain different ways for inclusion in volunteering
- Volunteer inclusion – Explain different ways for inclusion in volunteering
- Welcoming volunteers – Describe ways to welcome volunteers
- Valuing Volunteers – Identify how to value and recognise volunteers
*Assessment will include short answer questions and workbook submitted at the end.
All learners should be 16+ years of age to undertake this qualification
