Maesteg Welfare Park

On the 26th February we are at Maesteg Welfare Park.

This area is around 9 hectares of formal parkland. Owned by Bridgend County Borough Council it includes rugby pitches bowling greens tennis courts and formal bedding and tree lined paths. There is also a footbridge and wildlife ponds. These have been made by the Friends of Maesteg Welfare Park. We will park at Maesteg Train Station and walk to the park as it’s free.

Please wear weather appropriate clothing. This is a level 3 on our 1-10 walk difficulty scale. Here are directions -
