Como inicio de temporada 2025-26 y con la finalidad de celebrar la Comunidad Ballroom, presentamos "THE WORLD OF CLOWNS MINI BALL".
Un evento-competición inspirado en la historia del clown, dónde lo emocional, lo extravagante y lo performático se unen.
Ofreceremos a los participantes diversas inspiraciones visuales y conceptuales, en 18 categorías en las que deberán diseñar sus outfits y crear momentos únicos. Tendremos 5 jueces, 1 MC, 1 Host, 1 DJ y 20 trofeos por los que los participantes se dejarán la piel en el runway.

La cultura Ballroom nace cuando en los años 70 personas trans, afroamericanas y latinas se reivindicaron para tener sus derechos, inexistentes en esa época. Ante las imposibilidades sociales crean su propio universo en clubs undergrounds, dónde la creatividad y la identidad eran lo más importante.

En la actualidad Ballroom explotó y se convirtió en mucho más que una competencia: una celebración de la diversidad, la actitud y el talento. Aquí no hay límites: se desfila, se baila y se brilla sin barreras. Cada categoría es una oportunidad para mostrar quién eres y dejar huella.

Además, para continuar con el hipe que nos dejará este eventazo, os presentamos la primera edición de “ 10’s ACROSS “ , un nuevo concepto de fiesta que la noche madrileña y todos vosotros necesitáis para disfrutar como os merecéis. Tendremos musica de la mano de 3 DJs que os harán bailar al ritmo de disco/house/techno con la actuación de performers y más cosas que no os imagináis. Te lo vas a perder?!!

CATEGORIAS:

TAG TEAM Realness MF & FF:
- HARLY QUINN Y JOKER: Para esta categoría tenéis como inspiración a esta pareja icónica y atemporal que ha hecho historia en el mundo del cómic y el cine. Traedlos al runway con tu Jocker o Harley favorito, mostrando esa relación amor odio tan real.

Beginners performance:
- RONALD MCDONALD: El payaso más legendario, aunque haya sido por puro marketing es el famoso payaso de Mcdonalds. Es por esto por lo que los mas principiantes deben inspirarse en él como mismo objetivo de status en la escena ballroom, pero antes consigue tus primeros 10’s.

Old way:
- PIERROTS: hagamos referencia a la historia y traigamos el pasado al presente. Muestra los elementos de esta categoria tan primaria de la escena y conquista al jurado teniendo como inspiración a uno de los primeros, unicos y elegantes payasos.

New way:
- MIMO: este personaje clown se identifica por no utilizar la voz y usar la expresion corporal como lenguaje. Utiliza tu control corporal para expresar lo que caracteriza esta categoria e inspirate en este personaje para tu performance.

FF Performance:
- KATRINA: este personaje de la historia del clown representa a la figura femenina del arlequin clasico, con una cpersonalidad dancistica, alegre y performatica. Representalo con tu mejor version y defiendelo en la pasarela para llevarte un OVAH.

Bq Vogue Fem:
- ARLEQUIN: el arlquin tiene una personalidad astuta y necia, intrigante e indolente, sensual y grosera, muestranos como lo llevas a tu version mas kunty para llevarte tus 10’s.

Realness with a twist:
- BUFON: el bufon real es un personaje muy importante de la historia por su cercania a reyes y personas poderosas para entrenerlos con sus habilidades, por lo que debes inspirarte en él para entretener a los jueces, llevarte los 10’s MANDATORY en realness y poder mostrar tu femenin twist.

Body OTA:
- GORGUERA: este accesorio tan caracteristico de los clown, siempre se ha utilizado para tapar el cuello, para esta categoria usalá para que sea la prenda que mas destaque de tu cuerpo o como complemento para mostrar tu sensualidad a los jueces.

Face BQ / FF:
- MASCARA: esta pieza es representativa por tapar parte o el rostro completo con propósitos ceremoniales, ven a la pasarela con una que se acorde a tu personalidad y a tu segundo paso en el runway descubre ese rostro de escandalo que se ocultaba tras.

Hands vs arms:
- RINGMASTER: es el maestro de ceremonias del circo, el cual, la mayoria de veces, suele ser un clown que conecta con el publico y da energía a la funcion, energía que tu debes de transmitir a los jueces para contar una historia con tus manos o mostrar tus habilidades con los brazos.

Sex siren FF / MF:
- LAZOS: se utilizan para complementar el vestuario del payaso y agregar un toque de color y diversión, suelen ser grandes y llamativos, con colores brillantes y pueden estar decorados con patrones o diseños. Ponle un lazo a la figura de tu cuerpo y utilízalo para encandilar a los jueces.

Bizarre:
- HORROR CLOWN: como no, si hablamos del mundo de los payasos debemos de mencionar a aquellos que protagonizan peliculas de terror como son IT, Terrifier, etc. Llevalo a la realidad y dale rienda suelta a tu imaginación para representar tus peores pesadillas.

Runway All American / European:
- CLOWN FUTURISTICO: hasta ahora hemos hecho referencia a la historia del clown pero para esta categoría dejamos que la historia de aqui en adelante la escribas tú. Recrea en tu outfit un clown del futuro que hipnotice en la pasarela.

Best dress:
- COLECCION MOSCHINO 19’: los payasos han sido un tema recurrente para Jeremy Scott (director creativo de Moschino) a lo largo de los años; realizó payasos hippies en 2012 y psicodélicos en 2015, pero para esta categoria tan importante en lo que moda respecta, debes inspirarte en los payasos de la coleccion circense de Moschino primavera/verano 2019.

LipSync:
Recrea una de las siguientes canciones como si fueses el artista en su mejor concierto para que los jueces te voten y llevarte el Gand Prize (PRODUCCIÓN MANDATORY):

“THE WORLD OF CLOWNS MINI BALL”

Ballroom culture was born in the 1970s, when trans, Black and Latinx individuals claimed their rights—nonexistent at the time. In response to social exclusion, they created their own universe inside underground clubs, where creativity and identity reigned supreme.

Today, Ballroom has exploded beyond competition—it’s a celebration of diversity, attitude, and talent.
Here, there are no limits: you walk, you dance, you shine with no boundaries.
Each category is a chance to show who you are and leave your mark.

And to keep the hype going after this incredible event…
We present the first edition of “10’s ACROSS”, a brand-new party concept that Madrid’s nightlife (and you!) have been waiting for. Expect disco/house/techno, 3 DJs, performers, and more.

CATEGORIES

TAG TEAM Realness MF & FF:
HARLEY QUINN & JOKER – For this category, your inspiration is this iconic and timeless couple who have made history in the world of comics and film. Bring them to the runway with your favorite Joker or Harley, showing their love-hate relationship.

Beginners Performance:
RONALD MCDONALD – The most legendary clown, even if it was just for marketing, is the famous clown of MCDONALDS. This is why beginners have to be inspired by, as a motivation to reach this status in the scene, but previously get your first 10’s.

Old Way:
PIERROTS – Let's make reference to history and bring the past into the present. Show the elements of this primary category of the scene and win over the judges, inspired by one of the first, unique, and elegant clowns.


New Way:
MIME – This clown figure is known for not using their voice and for communicating through body expression. Use your body control to convey what defines this category, and draw inspiration from this character for your performance


FF Performance:
KATRINA – This character from clown history represents the feminine figure of the classic harlequin—joyful, danceful, and full of performance energy. Bring your best interpretation to life and on the runway to snatch your OVAHH!

BQ Vogue Fem:
HARLEQUIN – The harlequin is clever and foolish, intriguing yet indifferent, sensual and rude. Show us how you bring this character to life in your kuntyest version and serve it for your 10s!

Realness with a Twist:
JESTER – The royal jester is a key historical figure, known for their closeness to kings and powerful people and their role in entertaining them with unique skills. Draw inspiration from this character to earn your mandatory 10s in Realness—and don’t forget to show off your feminine twist!

Body OTA:
RUFF – This iconic clown accessory has traditionally been used to cover the neck. For this category, use it as the most importante garment of your body, or as an accent piece to highlight your body hoy the judges want.

Face BQ / FF:
MASK – This piece is known for covering part or all the face for ceremonial purposes. Step into the runway wearing one that reflects your personality—and on your second step, reveal that scandalous face that’s been hiding underneath.

Hands vs Arms:
RINGMASTER – The ringmaster is the circus’s master of ceremonies—often a clown—who connects with the audience and brings energy to the show. That same energy is what you must channel to the judges: tell a story with your hands or showcase your skills through the movement of your arms.

Sex Siren FF / MF:
BOWS – Often used to complement a clown’s costume, bows add a touch of color and fun. They’re usually big, bold, and bright—sometimes decorated with playful patterns or designs. Place a bow on your body’s silhouette and use it to captivate the judges.

Bizarre:
HORROR CLOWN – Of course, if we’re talking about the world of clowns, we have to mention the ones who haunt our nightmares—straight out of horror films like IT, Terrifier, and more. Bring it to life and let your imagination run wild and come into the runway as the clown from your darkest dreams.

Runway All American / European:
FUTURISTIC CLOWN – So far, we’ve paid homage to the history of the clown—but for this category, the future is yours to write. Serve us a look that reimagines the clown of tomorrow. Make it hypnotic. Make it unforgettable. Take to the runway a world we’ve never seen!

Best Dressed:
MOSCHINO SS19 RUNWAY COLLECTION – Clowns have been a recurring theme for Jeremy Scott, creative director of Moschino. He gave us hippie clowns in 2012, psychedelic clowns in 2015—but for this category, serve inspiration straight from Moschino’s circus-themed Spring/Summer 2019 collection, and give us high fashion clown couture that’s ready for the runway.
