New Faces Open Mic: Stand-up Comedy in English in Madrid

Whether you’re an audience member or performer, this laid-back, welcoming show is always a good time. Who knows? Five years from now, you might just be able to say you saw a comedy superstar way back when 👀

Performers don’t need to reach out in advance. Just show up, sign up at the bar by 19:00 (7:00 PM) at the latest, and wait to see if your name is one of the 10 to get drawn 🤞

Show-up, go-up open mics don’t have a set lineup in advance. Anyone who comes to the show can sign up to perform. If more than 10 people want to perform, we’ll determine the lineup by drawing names.

Each performer has 5 minutes. At 4 minutes, we’ll give you the light so you can start wrapping things up.

No, performers can simply show up — no need to make a reservation or donate at the end.

Yes, first-timers are welcome and encouraged!

Our Venue: Madrid Comedy Lab

Madrid Comedy Lab is located in the heart of Madrid’s trendy Lavapiés neighborhood, home to various cultural centers, vintage stores, local watering holes, and the city’s best West African and Indian restaurants. 

Our venue is a hip yet intimate space perfect for comedy shows, corporate events, and private parties. Our bar is stocked with beer, wine, and soft drinks, while our green room offers a cozy retreat for performing comics. The entire space is wheelchair-accessible.
