Join local art galleries and retail shops the first Thursday of each month for an evening of shopping and indulging in local art.
Art & Shop is the Madras Downtown Association's newest event creation; instead of a summertime street fair, the colder months' events will give you an opportunity to visit local stores and galleries a bit later than usual with a rotating selection of seasonal treasures for you to discover.
Start your evening at MidTown Coffee, where you can grab a tasty drink and pick up the monthly event information card. Scan the QR code on the card to see what artists are being featured in each gallery, what activities are taking place where, what vendors are popping up in different downtown shops, and what retail specials each shop has in store for you! This will change up every month, giving you more fun activities to explore and more beautiful art to view.
Each month, every shop involved will have a drawing. Get a stamp (on your information card) from each space you make a purchase at and turn in your card at any participating shop at the end of the evening for a chance to win a prize from the shops you supported!
