Wisconsin Believe Walk

You’re invited to join us at an amazing gathering: The Wisconsin Dup15q Believe Walk. We’ll be walking to raise awareness about Dup15q syndrome, to raise funds for the Dup15q Alliance, and to get the families in Wisconsin and our neighbor states together. Getting the word out about Dup15q syndrome is a key part of the Alliance’s mission. So is funding research to find targeted treatments for the symptoms of Dup15q. Connecting families so they can support each other and share the joys and difficulties of raising a child with Dup15q is the third important part of our mission. Our walks are set up to help us accomplish three important goals in one gathering.

What: Wisconsin Dup15q Believe Walk

When: Sunday, September 28th

Where: Brittingham Park & Shelter, 829 W. Washington Ave., Madison WI

Registration Opens at 10:00 am

Walk Begins at 11:00 am

Funds raised from the Believe Walk will go directly to the Dup15q Alliance to support our mission: advancing breakthrough research and life-changing therapeutic treatments; supporting families affected by Dup15q; and promoting advocacy for individuals with 15q11.2-13.1 duplication syndrome. We seek to LEARN about the syndrome through research; identify methods to TREAT the symptoms affecting patients; and ultimately develop a CURE (a disease-modifying therapeutic) to give patients the chance to lead a healthy and long life. Together with our families, the Dup15q Alliance works toward a better tomorrow for everyone with Dup15q syndrome.
