Workshop Description

This tango workshop 2-3pm will focus on pivot technique and its applications. The goal of this workshop is to help followers and leaders use dissociation to power their pivots through molinetes and giros, sacadas, and - at some point - enrosques."

Additionally, Kevin will also DJ for the Milonga Matinee, from 3-5pm.

Cost
$20 for both tango class and milonga OR
$15 - just the tango workshop, 2 -3 pm
$5 - just the milonga, 3 - 5 pm
Please provide workshop payment to the bartender.

About Kevin
Recently relocated to Madison, Kevin first got involved with partner dancing through a free summer series offered by the Yale Tango Club. There, he was taught by his peers as well as heavily influenced by his tango teachers, Tomas Corbalan, Dagny Miller, and Robin Thomas. His favorite dances often involve moments when the lines between leading and following seem to blur.

Kevin's workshop is followed by The Milonga Matinée 3 - 5 pm.
