Saving Nature With Your Yard: A Garden Tour and Native Plant Sale

On this self-guided tour, you'll step through gates and past hedges and see how native plant lovers are shrinking lawns, installing rain gardens and saving nature with their yards.

The tour has 8 public and private locations, including an energy efficient house with a green roof. Toadshade Wildflower Farm (www.toadshade.com) will be selling native plants and seeds and eco orgs and garden designers will offer inspiration and advice. Tickets are $10. All proceeds go to a Nature Lovers Speaker Series with The Nature of Reading Bookshop.
