Anna and Ryan have been talking a lot about what makes a great milonga-- and it's time to put it into practice. We have an amazing venue on the shore of Lake Mendota. Gates of Heaven is a cozy, historic building with wood floors and we are going to fill it up with Marquis' great music and friendly embraces! We would be delighted if you would join us for a festive evening of dancing and socializing at the end of summer.

Due to park rules, the milonga is in a slightly un-milonguero time slot. But we prefer to think of this as a boon for out of town travelers who want to drive back that night and for those who, like us, prefer to be in their jammies by 10PM.

Another quirk of dancing in the park-- everyone must pre-register. We can't accept money at the door. So here are the details. You can reserve your spot by sending me your payment ($25/per person) via Venmo (@Anna-Snider-12). In the notes please put your email address and "Milonga Sept 13". Don't have Venmo? You can give me or Ryan Hahn cash at any milonga, practica, workshop or other event and we will get you registered.
