natural areas management work day

We will work to manage the natural areas of the park. Work may include invasive plant removal, seed collection or other tasks.

No prior training or experience is needed. We will show you how to identify the plants and give you lots of practice. Everyone is welcome! No tools needed. Consider wearing long sleeves and long pants and sturdy shoes for easy off-trail walking. Bring work gloves if you want them as well as drinking water and sunscreen and whatever you need to safely and comfortably co-exist with insects, plants and sunlight while you work. If you have ANY RESERVATIONS about whether you have the knowledge or physical ability to do this work, please let me know your concerns.
