💃🏼 🕺🏽 Join us for a blindfolded ecstatic dance followed by integration through sound and art.
This event will focus on the internal experience and somatic awareness. We will start off with a blindfolded embodiment exercise to prepare you for the dance portion of the event. Using blindfolds allows a space of dropping in deeper with the physical body and decreases internal judgment.
🎶 Casey, aka DJ Naturespeak, will provide the music to lead you on a dance journey of inner exploration. Andrea and Vortasia will be dance guides providing support to participants as needed.
🎶 After the dance, Paul and Vortasia will lead a sound bath to assist with going even deeper within. The somatic awareness built up through the dance will be grounded and expanded through the frequencies that Paul and Vortasia provide.
🎨 Following the sound bath, Andrea will lead participants through an art integration exercise which allows participants to reflect on their experience and express it on paper.
Blindfolds will be provided, but if you have one of your own, you are more than welcome to bring it. Also, bring a yoga mat, blanket, or whatever else would make you comfortable during the sound bath. Light snacks will be provided during the art portion of the event.

Blindfolded movement has been an integral part of Casey’s healing journey. By going to a place where he is free to move without any internal or external judgment, he was able to bring those lessons into other dances and also bring that sense of freedom to his life.
Through grief and sadness, Paul began working with vibrational healing and seeing the powerful effects it has on his life. Sound and vibration allows Paul to continue to reclaim and heal himself, while also bringing that medicine forth to others.
Vortasia is an energy practitioner, sound healer and flow artist who is thrilled to combine her magic with Casey, Andrea, and Paul to provide a deep, integrative inner exploration of the body and soul.
Andrea finds art is an expressive outlet and passion. She understands that creative expression can be a reflection of our current state of being and can be transformative in different ways for each person. She will hold the container through guided breathwork and self-expression both as dance guide and integrative facilitator. She will offer a few artistic mediums and prompts for the integrative activity to allow participants to feel safe to reflect on their experience.
