Concerts in the Country: Carols in the Country

Join us on Sunday, December 7th, at 5:00pm in the Chapel of the Resurrection for a beautiful evening of music as the Chapel of the Cross Choir presents this concert season’s second Concert in the Country, featuring a rich program of beloved Christmas carols and choral treasures.

We’re thrilled to welcome nationally renowned harpist Kristina Finch and the Mississippi Symphony Brass Quintet, who will join the Choir and the Chapel's own organist Joshua Nichols for an unforgettable night of seasonal music.

The program will include selections from Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, Gustav Holst’s Christmas Day, and a variety of carols and arrangements by Gladys Pitcher, Peter Wilhousky, Fred Prentice, Carol Barnett, and Sir Malcolm Sargent.

You’ll also have the chance to lend your own voice as we join together on several congregational carols arranged by Sir David Willcocks.

A lovely reception in the Chapel of the Cross parish hall will follow the concert. All are welcome!🎶✨
