Identify & Eradicate! Invasive Plant Identification and Removal Workday

Join Birds Georgia and the Fringed Campion Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society for a morning to identify and treat a suite of common invasive plant species at Amerson River Park.

We will be focusing on looking for the Fearsome Five: Chinese Privet, Nandina, English Ivy, Bahia Grass, and Autumn Fern.

Please bring comfortable shoes, gloves, hats, water, snacks, and tools if you have them. We will have a few pairs of loaner gloves and a few loppers and shovels.

We will meet in the parking lot near the overlook.
