Bike Walk Macon is partnering with Go Georgia to offer a specialized POST-certified training program designed to equip officers with the knowledge, skills, and tools to enhance the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. This comprehensive training will cover:
- Understanding the unique challenges faced by cyclists and pedestrians.
- Enforcing traffic laws effectively.
- Investigating crashes involving pedestrians and cyclists.
- Conducting safe and efficient traffic stops.
- Officers will receive two hours of POST credits upon completing the training.
