Hey South Georgia Global Methodists,
I want to invite you to some very special nights of worship this September that we’re calling Awakening. We’ve had a tremendous response to the worship at Annual Conference, and Bishop Gregory will be returning to South Georgia to join me for a three-night tour focused on prayer, worship, and growing in holiness.
Here are the dates and locations:

Tuesday, September 23rd – 5:30 PM
Martha Bowman Church
Macon, GA
Wednesday, September 24th – 5:30 PM
Park Avenue Church
Valdosta, GA
We would love for all pastors to attend one of these three nights. While we hope you invite your entire congregation, it would be especially meaningful if you brought key leaders such as your Administrative Board Chair, Pastor-Parish Relations Chair, Conference Delegates, and Lay Leader.
Additionally, one hour before each service, we will have thirty minutes of prayer—similar to the pattern we followed at Annual Conference in July. These times of prayer were deeply meaningful, and we look forward to continuing that rhythm.
It was a joy worshiping Jesus with you at Conference, and I look forward to gathering again during these Awakening nights in September.
