September is Queensland Manufacturing Month!

As part of the month’s activities the Queensland Government has a calendar packed with networking events designed to help manufacturers discover new ways to grow and diversify.

We’d like to invite you to the Mackay Manufacturing Hub Regional Networking Event on the 30th of September, to meet our local Manufacturing Hub team and hear from Industry Leaders from across the State.

Our team will be able to provide you with information on Queensland Government support for local manufacturing businesses and our 2 guest speakers are:

Brad Parsons - An ecosystem orchestrator at a company that provides digital transformation and industrial data solutions for sustainability; and

Jordan Morris - Manufacturing Skills Queensland - Industry Development Manager and Queensland Industry Skills and Jobs Advisor - Manufacturing and Engineering Stream

Over drinks and nibbles, you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with your local manufacturing peers, share ideas and unlock potential new opportunities.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from 5 businesses to participate in a pilot of the Technology Platform RELY ABILITY designed to cut energy consumption. If you are in one of these sectors, we want you to participate.
