Come paint in Mackay, ID!
We have lots of rivers, streams, fields, barns, blue skies and clouds. But of course, we are known for our mountains! Check out some photos from past years, I added them here, under "Discussion" for this event!
I will post some painting places, but of course, feel free to go wherever you like!
Remember to bring some warm or light weight warm-ish clothes. Just because its hot where you live, don't forget that the weather can change quickly at our elevation (Almost 6,000 ft)
Also bring anything you have for shade: hats, umbrellas, awning chairs, pop up's, etc. I have done my best to find shade for us, but sometimes the scenery is just too good to resist!
We have good Cell reception right in Mackay. Make sure you have my address and phone number, so you can find us if the plans change due to weather, smoke or group consensus. Message me through Facebook Messenger for my phone and address.

Keep in mind, plans may need to change due to Smoke and/or weather.
There is no fee to participate and there is no Canvas stamping (Haha)
I can provide a free place to park your camper or tent and a bathroom. There is also a free tourist park, campgrounds, motels and Air BnB's. Paint Friday, Saturday, Sunday or all 3!
Very casual. Breakfast and lunch on your own, we can have dinner at my house or go out to one of the great spots for a little socializing. (2 blocks, literally)
All levels of painters and all mediums are welcome.
Friends and family welcome.
Your non painting spouse and kids can ride the trails w a Mountain bike, ATV or UTV, hike, fish the rivers and reservoir, kayak (Rentals in town) ride a horse, bird watch, etc.

Approx 4 hrs from Boise, 1 1/2 hrs from Idaho Falls and Pocatello, 1 hr from Blackfoot.
