Doors open from 5.30pm for a 6pm start
On Saturday 14 March 2026, The Just Saying Project will bring the Greater Whitsunday Region together for our signature celebration — the JSP Women’s Awards, a night dedicated to honouring the women and allies who bring Joy, Strength and Purpose to our community. This year, our theme — A Night of Storytelling — leans into the very heart of JSP: the power of women’s voices.
The stories that heal, connect, strengthen and keep our communities grounded in who we are. We are honoured to welcome bestselling author Belinda Alexandra as our keynote storyteller.
Belinda’s memoir Emboldened charts her own journey of devastation, courage and beginning again. Her lived truth reminds us that storytelling is how women make sense of their pain, reclaim their power, and light the path for others. Across our region, women carry stories that deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated — stories of reinvention, quiet leadership, fierce love, community impact, creativity, care and resilience. The JSP Women’s Awards bring these stories to the forefront, not polished or perfect, but real and deeply human. This night is a tribute to the extraordinary women among us and the stories that shape the soul of our region. A night to amplify voices.
A night to honour courage. A night to rise together through story. Join us as we celebrate the magic-makers in our community and shine a light on the stories that matter.
