Cadair Idris or Cader Idris which stands at 893m is a mountain located in the Meirionnydd area of Gwynedd, Wales. Situated at the southern end of Eryri also known as the Snowdonia National Park. This peak is primarily made up of Ordovician igneous rocks and features classic glacial erosion formations such as cwms, moraines, striated rocks, and roches moutonnée which makes it an incredibly stunning circular route!
This is a definate bump for the ticklist and a great oppurtunity to explore outside of the ever popular Glyderau and Snowdon massif peaks.
