Please join us for an exhibition of new work on 2nd October, 6:30-9:30. APPLEJACK features recent paintings by the Llanbrynmair-based artist Nicky Arscott, whose work explores the natural world, human bodies and inner turmoil through the use of visual metaphor and humour.
APPLEJACK references the inevitable process of bodily disintegration via the sacharized landscape of childhood optimism. This body of work dances between the sadness of discarded plastic toys and the possibility of eternal life through the spirit of the Plush Pony.
The exhibition can be viewed via appointment till 31 October.

Ymunwch â ni ar gyfer arddangosfa o waith newydd ar 2il Hydref, 6:30–9:30.
Mae APPLEJACK yn cynnwys paentiadau diweddar gan yr artist sy’n byw yn Llanbrynmair, Nicky Arscott, sy’n archwilio’r byd naturiol, cyrff dynol a chythrwfl mewnol drwy ddefnyddio trosiad gweledol a hiwmor.
Mae APPLEJACK yn cyfeirio at y broses anochel o ddadelfennu corfforol drwy dirwedd sacharosa optimistiaeth plentyndod. Mae’r corff hwn o waith yn dawnsio rhwng tristwch teganau plastig wedi’u taflu a’r optimistiaeth o fywyd tragwyddol drwy ysbryd y Plush Pony.
Bydd yr arddangosfa ar agor yn ôl apwyntiad tan 31 Hydref.
