Foraging Hike ~ Fall Identification, Gathering and Preservation of Wild Medicinal Herbs

Take a walk around the homestead and learn about the wild plants that have been used by our ancestors for healing and ailments throughout the winter months.

In this class we will take a 1 hour walk around the field, tree line and gardens... identify several plants and herbs, talk about their benefits and gather for storage. We will gather about a dozen different plants and take them into the big barn to discuss in detail and learn the best methods to store them and replant!

Each guest will take home printed notes from class as well as some plants to take home, and herbs to store.
