Loofah Soap Workshop

Learn how to make your own loofah scrubber and soap in this workshop featuring loofah gourds grown at the Giving Garden. Loofah gourds have been used as sponges and scrubbers for hundreds of years, and is the predecessor to the plastic loofahs that most people use. In this workshop you will:
-learn to process, save seeds and make your own products from loofah gourds
-learn how to save your own seeds from loofah gourds to grow your own
-learn how to make your own scrubber soap with loofah
-take home loofah soap
