Homeschool Program

Homeschoolers are cordially invited to participate in educational activities on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Tri-County Library, in partnership with Purtis Creek State Park. Through hands-on examination of animal skins and skulls, students will cultivate their skills in identifying and investigating native Texas wildlife, thereby fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation and land stewardship. This interactive experience will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the adaptations, habitats, and food sources of these animals. Please ensure that each child brings a sack lunch, as snacks and drinks will be provided throughout the day. This program is intended for children ages 4 - 16.
