Hodie - Christmas Concert

Celebrate the magic of the season at Conservatorium Maastricht with an enchanting Christmas concert featuring a rich variety of choral music. The evening will include a cappella works by Benjamin Britten and Leonhard Schröter, the festive Two Irish Christmas Carols composed by Frank Ferko for chorus, flute, violoncello, and harp, and the captivating Christmas Cantata Hodie by Hans Leenders for choir, solo voice, flute, and string quartet.

The concert will be conducted by our talented choral conducting students, offering a showcase of their artistry and musical leadership.

We are honored to perform Hodie as part of Hans Leenders’ tenure as City Composer of Maastricht, a position he holds for two years. Join us for this special celebration of Christmas music, blending tradition, contemporary compositions, and the joyful spirit of the season.
