Op 1 april zakken we naar aloude traditie opnieuw af naar Den Briel. Deze reconquista is gratis met dank aan het IMD Brussel en Huis van de Mens Brussel. De dag zal gevuld zijn met tal van historische en folkloristische evenementen, inclusief historische re-enactments van de verovering van Den Briel. Meer info over de evenementen vind je terug op

Op vraag van de vorige deelnemers werd het vertrekuur vervroegd en het uur van terugkeer verlaat. De bussen vertrekken vanuit campus Etterbeek, je wordt dus om 7u45 stipt verwacht aan het rectoraat met terugkeer vanuit Den Briel omstreeks 18u (aankomst om 20u33 in Etterbeek naargelang het verkeer). Inschrijven is verplicht om jouw plek op de gratis bus te reserveren:

Een week voor aanvang krijg je een bevestigingsmail. Indien dit niet het geval is kan het dus zijn dat er geen plek meer is. Neem in geval van twijfel gerust contact op met Diewert Seynaeve (
ZGlld2VydHNleW5hZXZlIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=). Bij het bezoeken van Den Briel zijn er ook huisregels die gerespecteerd dienen te worden, neem ze dus zeker door!

À la demande des participants précédents, l’heure de départ a été avancée et l’heure de retour retardée. Les bus partiront du campus Etterbeek : soyez donc présents au rectorat à 7h45 précises. Le retour de Den Briel est prévu vers 18h (arrivée à Etterbeek vers 20h33, selon la circulation). L’inscription est obligatoire afin de réserver votre place dans le bus gratuit:

On April 1, according to time-honored tradition, we will once again descend upon Den Briel. This reconquista is free courtesy of the IMD Brussels and Huis van de Mens Brussels. At the request of previous participants, the departure time has been moved earlier and the return time later. The buses will leave from the Etterbeek campus, so please be at the rectorate at exactly 7:45 a.m. sharp. Return from Den Briel will be around 6:00 p.m. (arrival in Etterbeek at about 8:33 p.m., depending on traffic). Registration is required to reserve your spot on the free bus:
