“Make & Take Workshop” – Upscaling Lamp Shades!

In September at Décor Amor’s “Make & Take” event, will be Upcycling Reclaimed Lamp Shades. Instead of using fabric to recover old lamp shades, we will upcycle old lamp shades by treating the fabric and then decorating it.

All lamp shades will already have been given a base of gesso and white paint over the cloth to start. Participants can then use decoupage of one of the MANY fabulous napkin patterns we have. You may also opt make a stencil to replicate a pattern or to paint embellishment details over or around the pattern.

We will share videos and links of the process in advance, so that you may opt to determine what your lamp may look like.

Remember, taking time to be creative is a holistic way to manage life’s stresses, have fun and meet others. Take time for yourself. Come and enjoy some jazz, wine spritzer or sparkling water and meet others while enhancing your creativity! This is a chill workshop, and we are all beginners.

•⁠ ⁠Workshop Cost: $575 Pesos per person (all workshop supplies are provided plus endless sangria or other refreshments.
•⁠ ⁠Workshop is in English.
•⁠ ⁠Attendance: Min 6- Max13 people
•⁠ ⁠Preregistration & Pre-Payment Required: Nonrefundable after 12pm on Monday Sept 15th. Your registration is NOT confirmed until your payment is made.
