Let’s go fishing!
This event is only a few hours, thus local fishing is recommended. Consider the Port area or our pilot site at the front of the port.
Participants will receive two GPS coordinates for the pilot site on the event day to assist them.
Getting to the pilot site requires a boat. Got a boat and space for another angler? Let us know. It’s a great way to meet fellow fishing enthusiasts.
No boat? We’ll help pair you with an owner. Land-based visitors might enjoy the high tide at Wynnum. Alternatively, a good spot is available at the Port ramp.
This is just for fun, not a fishing competition. So, no need to keep or measure your fish if you release it.
Just bring back great fisho stories and photos for our BBQ get-together at Oysterworld commencing at 1pm.
