This beginners’ Hatha yoga class will focus on the mighty Warrior poses.
We will be practising all three of the Warrior poses - Virabhadrasana 1, 2 and 3 - using chairs and props for support, as necessary.
Warrior poses provide physical benefits, such as increased leg and core strength, improved balance and co-ordination, and greater hip and chest flexibility.
The mental benefits that the Warrior poses bring include enhanced focus, confidence, and a sense of inner strength and resilience.
The magnificent Warrior poses also help with posture, relieve tension in the shoulders, stimulate blood circulation, and energise the body.
The Warrior poses will help you to leave this class feeling empowered, confident and with the required inner strength to face any challenges with courage!
All classes are for beginners and take place at Crescent Yoga Studio at St Anne’s Tennis Club FY8 2QH. The yoga studio is fully equipped so you don’t need to bring anything with you, unless you prefer to use your own mat and blanket etc.
Classes are £8 on Thursday evenings 7:15-8:15pm and £10 on Saturday mornings 9:30-11:00 or sometimes 10:00-11:30am.
