Next Steps Embroidery

Date & Time: 10-1pm Saturday 21st June

Location: Lytham Ymca Mythop Road, Lytham St Anne's, FY8 4HB

Cost: £30: Includes all materials; calico, selection of embroidery threads in the shades, template & Embroidery needle. (Bring along or buy a 6'' Embroidery hoop)

Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- this session requires previous hand sewing experience!

What you'll learn & make: Create your own pretty & practical hand embroidery sampler choosing from a selection of designs. They’re a fun way to try a range of different floral/leaf stitches. There are so many hand embroidery stitches out there but this class is aimed at those will some embroidery experience who want to develop with skills. This 3 hour session will focus on a range of botanical, filling & advanced linear stitches where you’ll develop your existing skills.

These are great transferable stitches to card making, soft furnishings & fashion/up-cycling. Take time to slow down this year & enjoy this mindful craft you can take on the go with you.

(you may not leave with a finished product but will have the skills & knowledge to do so at home)
