Fire Prevention Week OPEN HOUSE

Everyone is invited to help South County Fire celebrate Fire Prevention Week with a fire station open house on Saturday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Martha Lake Fire Station 21, 16819 13th Ave. W, Lynnwood. Additional parking is available next door at Christ the Rock Fellowship, 16707 13th Ave. W.

This free event includes activities for all ages:
• Meet your firefighters.
• Learn about lithium-ion battery safety.
• See a fire engine up close and spray water from a fire hose.
• Learn how to use a fire extinguisher.
• Learn hands-only CPR.

Activities will focus on this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme: “Charge Into Fire Safety!™” The campaign stresses how important it is to BUY, CHARGE, and RECYCLE safely when it comes to lithium-ion batteries. Find more details at southsnofire.org/openhouse.
