About the artist

Morten Søndergaard (b. 1964, Copenhagen) is a Danish artist and poet known for working across literary, visual, and sound-based media. He debuted as a writer in 1992 with the poetry collection Sahara i mine hænder and has since developed a multidisciplinary practice rooted in language, sensory experience, and the physical world, inviting audiences to experience poetry not only as text but as something spatial, physical, and deeply embedded in daily life.
